The organisations involved in the AGE-FRIENDLY TOOLKIT project work for the well-being and empowerment of older
people at national and international level. The consortium identified the needs of the partnership and the target groups as a result of international and national cooperation, as all organisations are involved in the elderly sector, facing the challenges and opportunities of longevity and demographic change.
All organisations are collaborating with municipalities in their countries to define new training proposals for a more inclusive society, especially after the COVID-19 pandemic, which shows the need to foster solidarity and cooperation between generations and the active role of municipalities’ services at different levels, such as outdoor spaces and buildings, transport, housing, social participation, respect and social inclusion, civic participation and employment, communication and information and community support and health services.
